Jumping For Jumpsuits

6d9317_ddff53afaae343498edcede53eaa52abAnyone that has been following my body positivity journey from the start knows that jumpsuits were one of the clothing items that I absolutely refused to wear before. I even included them in my Fatshion Faux Pas blog post recently. I found one late last summer on sale and tried it on, just in case. Little did I know how much I would love it! I find them very comfortable and kind of sexy. This one from Curves Avenue takes kind of sexy, all the way there. I mean check out the crossover design across my bust, so sexy and yet completely covered. I love showing off my cleavage but the straps make you feel secure in knowing you aren’t going to experience a wardrobe malfunction. The material is super soft and kind of stretchy so it is very comfortable to wear. I think it just became my new outfit for going out at night when paired with heels and some glam jewellery, but I’ll also absolutely wear it to summer festivals with flat or wedge sandals and a tote bag. I’m also thinking about adding a corset belt next time I wear it.

I’m wearing the Hollow Out Lace-Up V-Neck Wide-Leg Jumpsuit in a size 16UK and it fits perfectly, really showing off my curves without clinging to my body too much. So I would say the size runs true as I am normally a size 14US for an item like this. It is also available in a UK size 18 and sells for $23.99 GBP. I’ve got to say, even with the Canadian exchange rate, that is an amazing price for a full outfit.  It is long enough for even someone as tall as me, I’m 5’8″, to wear heels with it. One thing to keep in mind is that it is a stretchy material but there is no zipper on the back or side to make getting in easier. I am ever so slightly pear shaped, so it was tight going up over my hips. If your hips are more than 4 inches bigger than your chest, it might be too difficult to get on. Basically, you are stepping into and then slipping through the neckline to get into the item and then pulling it up over your curves. So getting into it was interesting but once it was wearing this jumpsuit, I realized it was absolutely worth the extra effort. Overall, I highly recommend this item and I am now even more excited than I already was for summer to arrive so I can wear it outside.

You should absolutely head over to the Curves Avenue website and check out all of the items they have available. Next up on my wishlist is a pair of Fitness Lace Trainers, or as we call them here in Canada, running shoes. They are so cute and at only $19.99 GBP, a great deal! They still stock the Wrap Around Black Bikini that I posted about a couple of months ago. Curves Avenue stocks a good assortment of swimwear, that overall, I think my readers will love. Especially the cutout black one-piece, that is also available in pink. I’m a huge fan of their Lace Long-Sleeved Short Jumpsuit. I know you will find at least one item that speaks to you personally, probably more. So please let me know what your favourite item or items are from the Curves Avenue website in the comments below.

CurvesAvenue sent me this complimentary jumpsuit as a part of our collaboration agreement so that I could demonstrate its quality to my readers and followers. However, you can trust that I will always give my honest opinion only on this blog and my social media pages.
