Here’s the thing. Despite what the media and society have been telling us for years, we all have a perfect swim body. Yep, it’s true!
I mean right now, today, exactly as you are. Not a month from now when you are flawlessly tanned, or once you lose 10 pounds, or once you have a partner to go out with. Right now! Ignore those sensational magazines that shame women who don’t look like supermodels for wearing swimsuits on the beach. Discard the fitness mags that tell you how to exercise to change your body and pick up articles that tell you to love it instead.
You are worthy of experiencing all the fun that summer has to offer and for so many of us that means enjoying time by the pool or swimming in the lake. Don’t miss out while you wait for something to change and start living your life now. This is what the Swimsuits For All #MySwimBody campaign is all about. We need to stop hiding our bodies away and start getting out there regardless of our shape or size.
The goal is to get at least 10,000 women to post photos of themselves on social media to create a wealth of diverse images under one easy to follow hashtag. So you know, I love this because that is exactly what #SelfiesForSelfLove is trying to achieve.I do really like the specific focus on swimwear because as you know lingerie selfies have really helped me to embrace my own journey to radical self-love. So many of us have confidence when we are fully dressed but struggle to wear a bikini for example.
Joining this campaign is a step in the right direction, so what are you waiting for? Post your own #MySwimBody selfie and be sure to tag me in the photo so I can see too!
