I know that some of my followers have been looking for customized fashion options and I also know that this post is exactly what they are looking for. I am going to tell you about a brand that offers a size range of 0-36 but that will also allow you to customize almost anything you want about the design. From the length, I’ve got your back shorter women, to shoulder width, I used to be on a swim team, it can be changed to suit your body and your preference. Find out how to get free customization and 10% off after the jump.
eShakti is the brand I am referring to and they are responsible for designing and allowing me to customize this beautiful floral dress. It has an absolutely amazing mesh overlay on the top which makes it feel incredibly special. In my opinion, this dress is a perfect outfit for a spring or summer outdoor wedding or similar event. Paired with neutral heels or wedges, always better for grass, as I’ve done here, it is a flawless look. eShakti is currently offering new shoppers free customization (normally $10) of any one item and 10% off with the code “MsLindsayM” so make sure you enter that at checkout.
When you visit the eShakti website you start by choosing the design of your choice. There are so many to choose from that it will be a challenge so have some idea of what event you are looking to shop for before beginning. Once you’ve chosen your design you can either stick with standard sizing or give them your exact measurements for a better fit. This is where it didn’t turn out as well for me, though, I am actually having to have the neckline hemmed in because it is at least 2-3 inches too big. While this may be typical of buying something off the rack, it shouldn’t be for something made to order.
You can also customize the length of the skirt or dress. I think it would be helpful to have the different lengths showcased on the same woman, but with length and height information included. Mine is the below the knee length and I am 5’8″ so it is a touch longer than I was expecting. You can also change the neckline and the sleeve length; I love that you can go all the way from sleeveless to a full sleeve as it totally changed the look of an outfit. My final critique is that in many of these photos you can see a slip seam right up the middle of the skirt, yet there are no seams on the sides of the slips so I question their placement and think the design of this dress could easily be improved.
eShakti has provided me with this dress as a part of our collaboration agreement so that I could demonstrate their process to my readers. However, you can fully trust that I will always give my honest opinion.
